Felicity Jones was born and raised in Britain and is primarily known for the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones started acting at age of 12 and was a part of numerous TV shows, plays as well as films. Her first role was in the television film The Treasure Seekers. Then she was Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch, and the sequel Weirdsister college. In her film debut Flashbacks of a Fool she appeared as Young Ruth and went on to be featured in numerous films. In films such as The Invisible Woman or The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she was a hit for her performance. It was however her character on The Theory of Everything' that earned her the Oscar nomination the very first time. Jones was highly praised by the public and critics for portraying Hawking's former wife, in this Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno was the following film in which she appeared that starred Tom Hanks. Jones was named British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her outstanding talent and contribution in cinema.
