Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th of November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej (now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast in history to get a flawless score of 10 during an Olympic competition. Bela Karalyi discovered Comaneci at age six. She would later become Romania's gymnastics coach. In 1969, she competed in the Romanian Junior Championships and finished 13th. She won in 1970. Three gold medals were awarded in her debut competition in a junior pre-Olympic meeting in 1972, which was a communist bloc countries. In 1973 and 1974, she became the junior champion in all-round competitions. In 1975 she was awarded 4 gold and 1 silver medal in her debut senior international competition. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European Champion. In 1976, she became the world's first woman to use a backwards-double salto to dismount from the parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens, she began performing in traveling shows like Ice Capades as a skater alongside her younger sister Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was born on the 6th of September 1942 at Chicago Illinois US. Carol was a part of the world of entertainment during her teenage years. In her early years Carol was an ice figure skater on the show Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. These shows were ice skating events which included stage performances.
