Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the child of an Russian mother from India and a Hindu Afghan father. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian, English as well as French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as an Indian father and a Russian mother. At age 11 she choreographed a performance that earned her a slot on German television as a beautiful Russian snow maiden who transforms into an energetic Indian dancer. The girl graduated high school within New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. After school she took acting classes at the HB Studio but then quit to pursue improvisation classes with the Groundlings School taking on several comedy projects thereafter. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu Indian mother and a Russian father, who lived in Kabul in Afghanistan. Her parents separated when she turned 13 years old older and they moved from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She is a part of Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in The Americans on FX. The Americans. Her most well-known role is the ex- KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She played a recurring character on Fox's The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
